Personal data processing policy

1. General

This policy describes what personal data the Percentile service (the percentile.ru site and the personal account) processes, why and for how long, and how you can manage your data.

2. What data we process

On the percentile.ru site:

• cookies and anonymous visit statistics from Yandex Metrika: pages, referrer, device and browser type, approximate geography. Metrika is loaded only after you agree; session recording (Webvisor) is off;
• your choice in the cookie banner and the colour theme are stored in your browser (localStorage) and are not sent to our servers.

In the personal account (app.percentile.ru):

• email address, name and password (as a hash) when you sign up and log in;
• check data: addresses and settings of the services being checked, check results;
• technical data: IP address and time of login, browser details.

3. Purposes

• running the site and visit statistics to improve it (only with your consent);
• sign-up and login to the personal account, providing the monitoring service;
• incident notifications and service emails;
• security: protection against password guessing and abuse.

4. Grounds and retention

Metrika statistics are processed on the basis of your consent, which you can withdraw at any time through "Cookie settings" in the site footer. Account data is processed to perform the agreement with you (the user agreement).

Data is kept while your account is active and is deleted after it is closed, unless the law requires keeping it longer. Your cookie choice is stored in the browser for up to 365 days.

5. Disclosure to third parties

If you accepted cookies, visit statistics are processed by Yandex (Yandex Metrika) under its own terms. Data is not sold or passed to anyone else, except where the law requires.

6. Your rights

You can ask for information about your data, its correction, blocking or deletion, and withdraw your consent. Write to the address below and we will reply within the time set by law.

You can also withdraw cookie consent yourself: "Cookie settings" in the site footer, then "Decline". Metrika cookies are deleted as far as the page can do it; the rest can be cleared in the browser settings.
